23rd of December: Dickens

Dickens1Dickens2

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Dickens (as Jo March never said) and so we’ve got the sweetest little edition of A Christmas Carol here complete with a holly-sprigged cover. It’s from around 1890 and has defnitely been read and carried around a fair bit but its smallness and old-book smell make it an adorable copy. Strange to think that this little book has been providing Christmassy fun for over one hundred years!
